PLANNING PARTNERS

The DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP SUMMIT unites people, organizations, and businesses throughout the world to promote the safe, savvy, and ethical use of social media & tech. We believe that by creating a multi-stakeholder participatory approach we can find better solutions, push forward best practices, and help move the needle towards a better web. Instead of relying on a one-way push of content, we are building a network to enable a two-way conversation.

The web doesn't happen to us--it is us--we aim to craft a culture of postive digital citizenship that is less reactive and more proactive. We should be the digital change. We are not mere users of social media & tech, but digital citizens that should be educated, empowered, and engaged.

By bringing together ALL stakeholders (educators, parents, students, administrators, organizations, and industry) we are able to gain insight and offer a platform to share perspective and knowledge.

The end result is a wealth of curated content that will help us all be better digital citizens. Busy parents have quick access to trustworthy material, educators can better share findings and resources, organizations have a streamlined method of disseminating content, industry has a better understanding over user behavior and concerns, and students become an active part of the conversation.
